This is an easy morning brew with the essence of a gingersnap. Recipe will yield four 8-ounce servings.
Use a French press, or a small pot with a tight fitting lid, as your steeping vessel.
Put the tea bags, ginger, cinnamon, and allspice into your French press or pot. Pour boiling water over the top. Cover and steep for 5 minutes. Then remove the lid and remove tea bags. Put the lid back on and steep for an additional 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, add 1/4 teaspoon molasses and 1 teaspoon of honey into each mug. When tea has finished steeping, strain tea into mugs and stir.
