The perfect summer cocktail made with gin and spicy ginger ale! Nothing says summer like ice cold ginger ale.
In a highball glass, pour one part gin and two parts ginger ale over ice. (I recommend spicy Blenheim ginger ale for flavor and zip, but mild ginger ale works, too. )
Then add a dash or two of bitters. Squeeze in half the lime and garnish with the rest. Give it a good stir and cheers!

Thank you! I haven’t seen this in the UK but I guess I could add a little fresh ginger to the drink to spice it up.

“spicy” ginger ale is usually bottled and more expensive than Canada Dry or other popular canned brands… it has an intense ginger kick and isn’t nearly as sweet. The brand my natural foods store carries is Reed’s Extra Ginger Beer… and that’s what I am going to make this cocktail with tonight!

Not silly! I was just wondering the same thing! (or maybe we’re both silly… ;))

Might be a silly question, but what is Spicy Ginger Ale?

This sounds delicious. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up enough for me to make a bunch of these!!!
