I make this all the time during the cold winters here in Wisconsin. Sometimes I even kick it up with a shot of Dr. McGillicuddy’s or some Bailey’s Irish Cream.
Pour milk into a mug and microwave for approximately 2 minutes or until hot.
Meanwhile, mix cocoa and sugar in a small bowl.
Stir cocoa/sugar into hot milk until fully dissolved. Add vanilla and stir.
Add a dash of cinnamon on top.
(Typically if I add alcohol, I leave off the cinnamon.)
**You could even probably package the dry ingredients as a mix for a gift. Put it into a cute mug with a peppermint stick?**
