A gin cocktail infused with fragrant Earl Grey tea. Fit for the royals, but simple enough to enjoy at home.
Earl Grey gin infusion:
Add the lemon juice and Earl Grey tea bags to the gin. Cover and let steep at room temperature overnight. Remove tea bags and refrigerate gin infusion.
To make the cocktail:
Combine 2 oz. of Earl Grey Gin Infusion with 1 oz. of simple syrup over ice. Shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Imbibe.
You can scale up the recipe if you are planning for a crowd, or make yourself a pitcher and drink responsibly.
Enjoy!
Recipe note: If you hate gin (gasp! really?) you could substitute vodka, but gin is really more appropriate because the botanicals pair nicely with the aromatic tea.
