This thick, creamy, rich and irresistible hot cocoa will melt all your cravings away!
Heat milk over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes. Add condensed milk and stir for 2–3 minutes (preferably with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula). Add cocoa powder and keep on stirring.
Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips in the microwave. Add to the hot milk and stir constantly to prevent the chocolate from sticking to the pan, about 10–12 minutes.
When the hot cocoa is creamy, remove from heat and add the espresso shot and stir briefly before serving (optional).
Serve with your favorite garnishes, such as marshmallows, whipped cream, a drizzle of white chocolate (for a tasty and interesting contrast), or a cinnamon stick stirrer.
