Description
My mom has no idea where this Cold Weather Drink first originated. It’s a great indulgence after a cold day of riding, snowmobiling, skiing or playing out in the snow. Spiked for grown ups only. Snuggling up on the couch by a roaring fire, optional.
Ingredients
- 5 cups Strong Coffee
- 6 cups Hot Chocolate
- ½ cups Kahlua
- ¼ cups Rum
- ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Almond Extract
- Whipped Cream
- Chocolate Shavings (optional)
Preparation
Combine the coffee, hot chocolate, Kahlua and rum. To this, add the cinnamon and almond extract. Keep warm in a thermos or carafe.
Serve in mugs and top with the whipped cream. Sprinkle the whipped cream with chocolate shavings and a shake of cinnamon.
