A superfood smoothie jam packed with nutrients and oxidants made with red beets, cacao powder, cranberry kefir and more!
Fill a pot with 2 inches of water, insert your steamer and bring the water to a boil.
Chop 1 whole beet into quarters, leaving the peel on, place it in the pot, and cover the pot.
Steam the beet for 15 minutes or until it’s soft when poked with a fork. Allow the beet to cool completely. Once cool, chop it into smaller pieces and freeze it in a freezer-safe container. Since you only need half of the beet, you can use the other half in a salad or freeze it too for another smoothie.
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until completely smooth.
