Here’s a homemade version of Starbucks’ Caramel Apple Spice drink. This buttery, hot apple cider will leave you wanting another. Enjoy!
Mix apple juice, caramel, and cinnamon in a mug and place in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir. If not hot enough, microwave for an additional 20 seconds.
Top with whipped cream and drizzle more caramel on top.
Helpful hint: if using a jar of caramel sauce, heat it in the microwave to make the sauce easier to drizzle on top of the whipped cream.

I make this but with a gallon of the apple juice, a bottle of squeeze carmel and a handful of cinnamon sticks placed in a pot until warm. Transfer it into a thermos and bring it on a hayride. Perfect for the fall. I also add Captain Morgan to the cup for the adults. The combo of the spiced rum with this warm cider is awesome.
