This blueberry lemonade syrup is bursting with color, refreshing, and easy to put together.
Wash blueberries well and drain. Add blueberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water to a saucepan over medium high heat. Once the mixture starts bubbling, lower heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Strain syrup through a fine mesh. Let cool.
To use, add 2 tablespoons syrup to 1 cup water. Throw in some ice and mint leaves, taste and adjust sweetness as needed (add more syrup if you want it sweeter). Serve.
Store syrup in an airtight jar in the refrigerator.
