Description

Yogurt, blueberries, flax seed and oats are blended to create the ultimate breakfast. With 16g of protein, 7g of fiber and only 237 calories.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Plain Nonfat Yogurt
  • ½ cups Frozen Blueberries
  • 2 Tablespoons Milled Flaxseed
  • 2 Tablespoons Old Fastioned Oats
  • 2 packages (2g, Individual Serving Size) Stevia
  • 1 Tablespoon Almond Milk, Only If Needed (may Need Up To Double This Amount)

Preparation

In a large cup (using a hand blender) blend the yogurt and frozen blueberries together (see note). Add the flax, oats and stevia and blend until smooth. If you find it’s thicker than you prefer, add the almond or dairy milk. That’s it! It’s so simple but oh-so-delicious and a great way to begin the day!

Note: I like to use my hand blender (immersion blender) for the most easy, hassle free smoothie. I don’t even pour it into a separate cup to serve it. A standing blender would be fine though.
