Use a little aged brandy to bring a little added holiday cheer to those you love!
For the fruit-aged brandy:
In a jar, add a mixture of desired dried fruits—including plums, apples, currants, raisins, and apricots. Pour over brandy and allow the fruit to steep for at least 1 day. Keep jar in cool place to steep, shaking the jar occasionally to ensure all fruit is marinated. Use as necessary.
For the cider toddy:
In a saucepan, heat apple cider, and aged fruit until simmering. Add in cinnamon and stir to combine. Pour into mugs, and top with 2 ounces aged brandy. Serve immediately.
