Watergate salad is a Christmas tradition with my family and I wanted to create a way to enjoy this treat during the warm summer months.
Mix together the half and half, cream, and milk with the pistachio pudding mix. Add to running ice cream maker and allow to churn for 25-30 minutes, or until the motor starts to strain.
Remove ice cream to bowl and fold in cherries, pineapple, walnuts, and marshmallow topping. Don’t mix too much – you want some yummy swirls of marshmallow running all through it.
Add mixture to an airtight container and freeze for at least two hours and enjoy.
Or eat entire bowl over sink with an over-sized spoon. It’s delicious either way.

What size ice cream maker does this fit? I just got a 4-qt. maker and am still learning how to adapt recipes for it LOL!
