We’ve been making this easy brownie recipe for 25 years. The addition of the boiling water makes it different than any other version I’ve come across.
Pre-heat oven to 350.
In a large mixing bowl stir cocoa and 1/3 cup vegetable oil.
Add boiling water and stir until thickened.
Add sugar, eggs, and remaining oil stirring until smooth.
Add the flour and vanilla and blend completely.
Pour into a lightly greased 9×13 pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.

Thanks for posting this recipe! I love that I can make brownies with so few ingredients. Very simple and very fudgy.
