Description

Fabulous frozen dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick Butter Or Margarine
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ½ cups Chopped Pecans
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Egg Whites
  • ⅔ cups Sugar
  • 1 container Cool Whip (lg)
  • 10 ounces, fluid Frozen Strawberries

Preparation

STEP 1: Mix 1 stick melted butter or margarine, 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup chopped pecans and 1/4 cup brown sugar.

STEP 2: Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350F

STEP 3: Crumble after it bakes and line the bottom of your chosen dish. Save a small amount for a little later, to sprinkle on the top.

Step 4: Beat 2 egg whites until stiff, and then add the sugar.

Step 5: Mix in the Cool Whip, followed by the berries.

Step 6: Pour the strawberry mixture over the crumbs that line the bottom of your pan.

Step 7: Pour remaining crumb mixture over the torte.

FREEZE FOR AT LEAST 2 HOURS. Make it day before event if you like!
