Description

Malt balls and malt powder are swirled into a cool ice cream treat.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces, weight Egg Product, Such As Egg Beaters
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Vanilla
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Half-and-half
  • ⅓ cups Malted Milk Powder
  • 2 drops Red Food Coloring, If Desired
  • 1 cup Strawberry Whopper Candy, Coarsely Chopped

Preparation

In a blender, combine the ingredients (except candies). When all ingredients are completely incorporated, keep in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours. Process ice cream in an ice cream maker, according to manufacturer’s recommendations. During the last 4 minutes of churning, add the strawberry Whoppers.

Makes about 1 1/2 quarts.
