With strawberry season still going strong, I thought it about time to make a great summer treat. I came up with this strawberry sorbet with dark chocolate mixed in. Sweet but with just that little hint of dark chocolate to offset it. Oh so yummy!
Stir strawberries and 1 cup sugar together and leave sit for 1 hour.
Add water and remaining cup of sugar, corn syrup and lemon juice. Stir together and process in blender or food processor.
Strain into large bowl and refrigerate for six hours.
Pour into ice cream maker and process for 30 minutes, adding chocolate in last ten minutes.
Pour into large Tupperware container and refrigerate overnight.
