Description

These granola bars are so delicious! They will be gone in no time!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ⅓ cups Maple Syrup (you Can Also Use Honey)
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3-½ cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • ½ cups Packed Brown Sugar
  • ¾ teaspoons Salt
  • ⅓ cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • ¼ cups Slivered Almonds
  • ½ cups Chopped Strawberries

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, beat the peanut butter, maple syrup, egg, oil, and vanilla until blended. Combine the oats, brown sugar, and salt; add to the peanut butter mixture and mix well. Fold in the chips, almonds, and strawberries.

Transfer to a 9×13 baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until set and edges are lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

The flavor is great! I love the faint hint of strawberry. Mine are very crumbly though. I’m looking forward to sprinkling it on top of yogurt. Yum!
