These brownies are great when you need a quick dessert on short notice with limited ingredients.
Mix first 4 ingredients together. Place 1/2 mixture in a 9×13 pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees F. Let COOL!
Melt caramels and milk until smooth. Pour chocolate chips over baked cake in pan, pour caramel mixture over this, then drop the rest of the cake batter randomly over this. Bake for 18 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.

These are just perfect! I have made them with chocolate cake mixes only. The nuts I toss in are sometimes a little mixture of things I have leftover from different recipes. They are never turned down at work, they fly out of the office!!!
