Description

When you can’t have a campfire but want a campfire treat, these s’mores bars are perfect.

Ingredients

  • 3-½ cups Graham Cracker Crumbs, Finely Crushed
  • 1 cup Butter, Melted
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 3 cups Mini Marshmallows (or More)
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips (choco/peanut Butter Swirlz)

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Prepare/grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

3. In a medium bowl, mix together butter, sugar and graham cracker crumbs until well coated. Press half of crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.

4. Top crumbs with the chocolate chips – add extra chips and peanut butter if you are adventurous (or use Hershey bars), then top with the marshmallows.

5. Cover with the remaining graham cracker mixture and lightly press down with a spatula.

6. Bake for 10 minutes or until marshmallows are melty and browned.

7. Allow to cool completely as they will cut easily into squares and won’t be as messy.

Yummy yummy yummy…but for some reason the bottom layer of graham cracker wouldn’t stick to the chocolate. It still tastes good, but looks a little funny. Suggestions? What did I do wrong?

How have I not reviewed these before. These are amazing. Our family loves these. They are so quick and easy. Wonderful for Potlucks or last minute “I need to bring something” sort of occasions. I’ve had them in my recipe box for over year. This is a “keeper” sort of recipe.
