An easy dessert I threw together to use some plums I’d forgotten about in the fridge. Hope you like it!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare cookie sheet with parchment paper greased with cooking spray.
In a bowl, mix plums, white sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Lay unrolled pie crust on the greased parchment paper and pile plum mixture onto it, leaving about a 1 1/2-inch border.
Fold the pie crust around the tart. It doesn’t have to be perfect—remember, it’s rustic.
Mix egg white and water and brush on the edge of the crust.
Sprinkle brown sugar on top and bake until bubbly and crust is golden brown, about 40 minutes.
Serve with vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream.
