Description

These krispy treats are made up of two layers of Reese’s Puffs Cereal covered in melted marshmallows and peanut butter with a layer of mini Reese’s peanut butter cups in-between.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups Unsalted Butter, Divided
  • 20 ounces, fluid Marshmallows, Divided
  • 1 cup Reese's Chunky Peanut Butter, Divided
  • 8 cups Reese's Puffs Cereal, Divided
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies Cereal, Divided
  • 16 whole Mini Reese's PB Cups, Unwrapped And Quartered
  • ¼ cups Halved Unsalted Peanuts, Divided

Preparation

Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with aluminum foil (make sure the ends of the foil overhang the edges of the pan – you’ll use the ends as handles to pull the treats out of the pan).

In a large non-stick saucepan melt 1/2 cup butter over low heat. Add 10 ounces of the marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Stir in 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter until melted. Remove from the heat and add 5 cups Reese’s Puffs Cereal and 2 cups of Rice Krispies. Stir until cereal has been completely coated.

Press mixture into the prepared pan, evening the top. Sprinkle with the quartered mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

In the same large non-stick pan melt 1/4 cup butter over low heat. Add 10 ounces marshmallows, stir until completely melted. Add 1/4 cup chunky peanut butter, and stir to incorporate. Add 3 cups Reese’s Puffs cereal. Stir until cereal has been completely coated. Spread this on top of the peanut butter cup layer. Top with halved peanuts and press them in a little bit.

Allow to sit for about 1 hour. Lift aluminum foil from pan and slice it into 2 inch squares and serve.
