A nippy creamy sauce to serve over coffee cakes or fresh fruit or berries. A lighter healthier alternative to ice cream.
In a small bowl or 2-cup measure cup, combine the yogurt, warmed honey and grated zest. Whisk it all together; cover and chill until ready to serve.
Whisk again before serving.
Note: You can change the lemon zest to orange zest for variety. I use lemon on vanilla cakes and orange on brownies. Either flavor is delicious on fruits and berries. My husband likes the lemon on French toast!
