A sweet quesadilla loaded with dulce de leche, queso and strawberries!
Place your tortillas on a cutting board and using your heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut several hearts out in order to design your tortilla.
If you use flour tortillas, you will be folding over the tortilla so make sure to only cut hearts out of the side you will fold over.
If you use corn tortilla, only cut hearts out of one, as these are stacked and you’ll need a solid base for the bottom tortilla.
Using the same tiny heart cutter, cut strawberry hearts from the whole strawberries and insert the strawberry hearts into the heart shaped cut outs in the tortillas.
Spread dulce de leche evenly over the one corn tortilla that will be the bottom (or the half of the flour tortilla that will be the bottom. Then, put cheese on top of the dulce de leche and top with the tortilla layer that has the starwberry cut out.
Spray the tortillas lightly with baking spray and place on cookie sheet.
Bake in a 300 degree F oven until cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
