This makes enough to feed a crowd and I make half the pan with chocolate chips and the other half with cream cheese frosting.
Mix together eggs, oil, sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin. Fold in the dry ingredients and pour into a jelly roll pan (13 x 18 pan). Sprinkle half the pan with 1 cup of chocolate chips.
Bake at 350F for 30 to 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Do not over-bake. Cool and frost the non-chocolate chips side of the bars with cream cheese frosting .
To make the frosting, blend together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Beat in powdered sugar and vanilla.

Easy and so good! I made them for my husband to take to a lunch at work, and they were a big hit!

I made these yesterday for a jewelry party I was hosting and they were a huge hit! I also did not have the correct pan size and used a 9×13 and just watched my baking time. Thanks for sharing this one!

This is so good. I don’t have a jelly roll pans so I just used a 9×13 cake pan. It had to cook a little longer than 40 min. And I put chocolate chips and the cream cheese icing on the whole thing!! My husband doesn’t eat pumkin pie, but he ate this!

I love all things pumpkin and these are very high on the list! This recipe was SO easy to make! We made a pan to take to a party and everyone really enjoyed them. I love that it basically makes two recipes in one. My husband prefers the chocolate chip and I prefer the cream cheese. YUM YUM YUM!
