Plums, sugar, oatmeal … so yummy. This makes a wonderful sweet breakfast on a crisp fall morning, or a simple homey dessert.
Preheat oven to 350F.
Pit and quarter plums. (If the plums are large, you may only need eight of them.)
Butter a shallow baking dish (I use a 10″ tart plate). Add plums.
Mix oatmeal, sugars, cinnamon and butter until butter is incorporated (two forks or a pastry blender work well). Cover plums with this mixture.
Bake until plums are soft and topping is lightly browned, about 25-35 minutes.

I made a 3rd of this recipe in individual dishes for 2 people (a bit heavy on the crumble but hey thats my favorite part!) Very good with a bit of custard on top!
