Picky-Poo’s Buttercream Frosting
Description
My husband is so picky about food but he loves this frosting. At least, he did until he found out what it was made of.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 cup Shortening
- 1 Tablespoon Milk Or Water
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
- 1 package Powdered Sugar
Preparation
Cream butter and shortening together.
Stir in water or milk (the milk will allow the frosting to crust up a little bit if you’re using it to decorate a cake).
Add vanilla (I like to add a little more because I love vanilla). Stir.
Stir in powdered sugar a little at a time until you get the consistency that you like.
Example: To just frost a cake you’ll want it a little thin, but to decorate you’ll want it thicker.
