Delicious Peanut Butter Pie nestled in a crunchy, Chocolate Covered Pretzel Crust. The perfect combination of sweet and salty, creamy and crunchy.
Makes two 9″ pies.
1. Make pie crusts. Mix 1 1/2 cups chopped pretzels, sugar, salt, and melted butter together in a medium bowl. Chocolate will begin to melt slightly. Mix until well combined. Press into two buttered 9-inch pie plates. Set aside.
2. Beat creamed cheese until fluffy. Add confectioner’s sugar, milk, and peanut butter and continue mixing until creamy.
3. Fold in 1 cup whipped cream and pour into prepared pie crusts.
4. Freeze until about 15 minutes before ready to serve.
5. Allow to thaw and top with remaining reserved 1 cup whipped cream and 1/2 cup pretzel pieces prior to serving.
Enjoy!

Actually the pretzels are the pie crusts. The ingredient list shouldn’t have pie crusts listed. It’s like a graham cracker crust but you use chocolate covered pretzels instead of graham crackers. hth

Reason I asked is because the instructions are a bit unclear if you actually read them. It says to “make the pie crusts” then it says to press the pretzel mixture ” into two buttered 9-inch pie plates”. Not two baked pie shells…….either way it all sounds great – thanks addapinch

im pretty sure “make pie crusts” means to bake them. then press the mixture in. No where else in the recipe does it say to bake them, and you dont bake the overall pie & you wouldnt want raw crust. sooooooo im pretty sure you bake it then. <3

OH MY!!!! Not that it really matter because it would be delicious either way – but do you bake the pie crusts and then press the pretzel mixture into the baked shells?
