The fudgiest brownies topped with fluffy peanut butter frosting.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brownies:
Melt 1 stick butter and baking sqaures in a microwave safe bowl. In the mixing bowl, cream the melted butter and chocolate mixture. Add in sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat until fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add in eggs, beating one at a time. Add flour and stir just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
Pour into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish (I used a 10 x 10 square cake pan). Bake at 350 F for 35-45 minutes, or until just barely done. Cool before frosting.
Peanut Butter Frosting:
Cream remaining 1 1/2 sticks butter and peanut butter together. Gradually add in powdered sugar and remaining 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add milk 1 tablespoon at a time. If frosting is too thick, add more milk. If it is too thin, add more sugar.
Frost brownies once they have cooled.
