Description

Reeses Peanut Butter Cup + Blondies = Love

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1-½ cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups Unsalted Butter, Cubed And Room Temperature
  • 2 whole Eggs, Room Temperature
  • ⅔ cups Peanut Butter
  • 1-½ teaspoon Vanilla
  • ½ teaspoons Almond Extract
  • 30 whole Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Unwrapped And Chopped
  • ⅓ cups White Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×13 inch pan.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and soda, and salt. In another bowl, beat together the brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy, at least 3 minutes. Mix in the eggs, one at a time, then add the peanut butter, vanilla, and almond extract, until well incorporated.

Slowly add the flour mixture into the wet mixture until just moistened and combined, be careful to not over mix the dough. Fold in the chopped Reeses and white chocolate chips.

As the dough is thick, it’s easiest to press the dough into the pan with your hands. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then cover the top with aluminum foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or just until set. Allow to cool completely. Cut and serve.

Biggest hit at the tailgate!! One change I made…not for any reason other than I didn’t have white chocolate chips…I used peanut butter chips and chocolate chips. But I don’t think that made a big difference. I will be making these again -by request no doubt!
