Description
These cookies are just like a Reese’s cup, maybe even better.
Ingredients
- 1-¼ cup All-purpose Flour
- ¾ teaspoons Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- ½ cups Shortening
- ½ cups Creamy Peanut Butter
- ½ cups Brown Sugar
- ½ cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 11 ounces, weight Hershey Kisses
Preparation
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, salt and set aside. With a mixer cream together shortening and peanut butter until well blended. Then add both sugars. Add egg and mix until combined. Slowly add dry ingredients until all incorporated. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll into small 1-inch balls and then coat with sugar. Bake at 375ºF for 8-10 minutes. Immediately after you remove from the oven, place a Hershey kiss on each cookie and then let cool.
