Description

A baked peaches and cream delight!

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups Self-Rising Flour
  • 1 package Vanilla Pudding, 3.4 Oz. Size
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter, Softened
  • 1 whole Egg
  • ½ cups Milk
  • 1 can Sliced Peaches, Drained (28 Ounces), Reserve 3 Tablespoons Juice
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1-½ teaspoon Sugar

Preparation

Mix the first five ingredients together and spread in a greased 9″ pie plate. Arrange sliced peaches over batter. Beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and reserved peach juice with a mixer for 2 minutes. Spread this mixture over the peaches. Combine the cinnamon and remaining 1 1/2 tsp. of sugar together and sprinkle over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Serve at either room temperature or chilled, your preference.

Delicious and easy! I love peaches and this was a great way to enjoy them in the winter. I did have to cook it toward the longer time and was happy you gave a range. We enjoyed it at room temperature, but next time I think I’ll try chilling it! Thanks for the yummy recipe.

This is a great recipe – I have been making it for a couple of years now. I actually can quart jars of peaches for the sole purpose of making this pie during the year.

the only thing different from this posting that I do is I only have to bake it for 30-35 minutes.

I find putting the sugar and cinnamon mixture in a spice jar works well to sprinkle over the top of the cream cheese mixture.
