This is the perfect way to have pie in the hot summer weather.
In a small saute pan over medium heat, add butter and allow it to melt. Next add sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the pan and saute over medium heat until peaches are soft and syrup has formed. Then remove the pan from the heat and let peaches cool.
Once peaches are cooled, alternate scoops of vanilla ice cream with sauteed peaches in a tall glass. Pour peach flavored soda over the ice cream layers. Lastly, top with crushed graham crackers and a pinch of ground cinnamon.
Makes 2 smaller glass 5 ounce floats or 1 large 10 ounce float.
