Description

Gooey cake bars jazzed up with Oreo chunks and a coconut topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (about 18 Oz. Size) White Cake Mix
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 cup Oreo Cookie Chunks
  • 2-½ cups Shredded Coconut
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Coconut M&Ms

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cake mix, butter, vanilla and egg until a soft dough forms. Stir in the cookie chunks by hand. Press the dough into a greased 9×13 pan.

Combine coconut and condensed milk in a bowl. Spread evenly on top of the cake dough. Sprinkle the top with the m&ms. Bake for 28-30 minutes at 350ºF. Loosen the edges of the cake from the pan with a knife when it comes out of the oven. Cool completely on a wire rack.

So good! Couldn’t find coconut m&m’s so used mini-eggs instead. Gooey and decadent and wonderful. Thanks!
