Orange Brown Butter Frosting

Scrumptious frosting!
Ingredients
- 1 stick Sweet Cream Butter
- 5 cups Confectioners Sugar
- 1 whole Orange, Zest And Juice
- 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
Preparation
In a saucepan on medium high heat, melt and brown the butter (do not burn). Set aside.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, add 1 cup confectioners sugar and some of the brown butter, orange zest and juice, and vanilla extract. Mix on low speed. Once combined, add remaining brown butter and one more cup of sugar until combined. Repeat adding sugar 1 cup at a time until all sugar has been added. Mix on high speed several minutes until creamy.
This is delicious on chocolate cupcakes!
