A very easy pie. Some call it a sugar pie, with good reason. It’s my favorite pie to eat.
I don’t know where I got this recipe. I have it written down on a yellow sticky note. It’s strange, but it works.
Wash your hands. Put the sugar, flour and salt in the pie shell. Stir well with your fingers. Add the cream, and the milk; stir with your fingers. Add the vanilla—DON”T stir. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees for 40 minutes. If it’s still soupy when you shake it, bake for 10-15 minutes longer.
