A deliciously dangerous layered bar starting with an oatmeal cookie base, drenched in caramel and chocolate, and topped off with another layer of oatmeal cookie. Bet you can’t eat just one.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8×8 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda, salt, brown sugar. Pour in melted butter and mix until combined. Press half of the mixture into the baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.
While oatmeal mixture is baking, mix caramel topping and flour in a small bowl until blended. After 10 minutes, remove oatmeal mixture from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips and drizzle with caramel mixture. Top with remaining oatmeal mixture. Place back in the oven for 15 minutes, until oatmeal mixture is golden brown.
Make sure you let it cool for a long while so that it sets properly or you’ll get a gooey mess!

Mine are IN the oven and smell FANTASTIC… I know the kids will adore them, if they make it to the table =o)
Added peanuts to the “granola” layer…. calling it granola makes it feel a bit more healthy… ha ha ha
