A lovely, easy accompaniment to Ree’s Pots De Creme!
Place one sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Roll out to a 14 x 15-inch rectangle. Spread a thin layer of Nutella over the surface. Fold pastry (from bottom up) in half. Take a pizza cutter and slice long ribbons of pastry, 3/4-inch wide. Gently tie pastry in a knot and place on a baking sheet. Repeat with the other sheet.
Bake in a 375-degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Serve warm or cold. I served these with Ree’s pots de creme, but they are great by themselves, too.
You may replace the Nutella with strawberry preserves, peach or apricot.
