These nut bars are easy to make and satisfy the sweet and salty craving all in one bite! You can use any combination of nuts that you want: mixed, just peanuts, just cashews … yummy!
Combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and 1/2 cup butter and pat into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
While crust is baking, prepare the syrup. Heat the butter, butterscotch chips, and corn syrup on medium to low heat until melted. Add vanilla.
Remove crust from the oven and spread nuts evenly. Pour the syrup mixture over the nuts. Bake 10 more minutes at 350 degrees.
Cut while lukewarm.
