Description

Need a dessert in a hurry? This just takes a few minutes to whip up and 1 hour in the fridge and it’s ready to serve! One of my favorite recipes!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • 29 ounces, weight Sliced Peaches, Drained
  • ¾ cups Powdered Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Almond Extract
  • 8 ounces, fluid Cool Whip
  • 1 whole 9" Graham Cracker Crust

Preparation

1. Soften cream cheese to room temperature.
2. Drain peach slices. Slice larger pieces in half to make thinner slices. Set aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and almond extract on medium speed.
3. Turn mixer to low and add Cool Whip, mixing just till folded together.
4. Gently fold drained peaches into Cool Whip mixture and spread in graham cracker crust. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Sounds yummy, can’t wait to try it. Have you ever done it with another fruit like blackberries, or strawberries or even pineapple? I bet they would all be good…even great.

Yummy, is all I can say…though I didn’t follow the recipe exactly…I didn’t have any canned peaches. I used thawed frozen, peaches,(I had a few), mangos and strawberries. Also I didn’t have any almond extract, so I used rum flavoring. Next time I make it I going to use crushed pineapple, a little coconut milk and flavoring as well as the rum flavoring, then sprinkle the top with toasted coconut. Double yum.
