Description

No-bake cream cheese pie is better than any boxed kit. Your family will think you bought it for a hefty price.

I entered 3 hours as the cook time but actually it’s 3 hours of refrigeration time.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Cream Cheese, Softened (8 Ounce Package)
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Can) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • ⅓ cups Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla, Double This Amount If Desired
  • 1 whole Pre-made Pie Crust (Graham Cracker Or Cookie Crust)

Preparation

My grandmother taught me how to make this. When we were growing up, the best part of any holiday gathering was the cream cheese pie. She would have to make 3 or 4 of them just to make sure everyone got a slice. Otherwise we would all be fighting over it.

In a large bowl using an electric mixer, whip your cream cheese until fluffy. Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and lemon juice (needs to be freshly squeezed juice, not the bottled type). Whip it some more for about a minute or until fully combined. Spread into the pie shell and put a cover on it (if you bought one from the store the little plastic cover is the lid). Put it in the fridge for several hours to set up (I recommend 3 or more hours so it can fully set).

You can add cherries or whatever you want on top of these. Growing up we did cherry pie filling but it’s great plain as well.
