Recieved this recipe from my friend and once neighbor, Lena. If you like pecan pie and cheesecake, you’ll love this recipe which is the best of both worlds.
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar and vanilla, and beat until mixture is light and fluffy. Spread over the bottom of unbaked pie crust.
Arrange pecan halves on top of the whipped cream-cheese mixture.
In mixing bowl combine the remaining ingredients (eggs, 1/4 cup sugar, corn syrup and extracts) and mix well. Carefully pour over the pecans.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
