Mini apple pie-tarts. All the goodness of a slice of apple pie – in a bite-sized tart, a la mode.
Preheat oven to 350F.
Place tart shells on a baking sheet.
Core apples and dice into small pieces.
Mix together in a large bowl the apples, corn syrup and lime juice.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg and brown sugar.
Spoon into tart shells until just full.
Bake for about 15 minutes, until tart shells are lightly browned and the filling looks caramelized.
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.
