Maple Cream Cheese Icing

Description
A delicious, tangy, sweet, maple icing.
Ingredients
- ½ sticks Unsalted Butter
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
- 3 cups Powdered Sugar
- 2-½ ounces, fluid Pure Maple Syrup
- 3 teaspoons Milk Or Heavy Cream - As Needed
Preparation
In a medium sized bowl cream together the butter and cream cheese with a mixer. Next add the powdered sugar and maple syrup in batches, mixing well. If the icing is too thick add milk or cream, a teaspoonful at a time until the desired consistency is reached. This icing is delicious on spice cake and will cover a 13×9 cake.
