A delicious dessert that combines the creaminess of white chocolate and the freshness of mangos. It’s a fresh and easy to make recipe with only few ingredients but with a great taste!
In a microwave safe glass container, place the white chocolate. Melt it in the microwave. (Every microwave has different power profiles; in my case I used 60% power for 40 seconds). When tempering chocolate you have to be very careful, it is better to do it gradually. It is recommended to not melt it completely in the microwave but instead to leave a few small chocolate pieces in there and whisk until smooth. When completely melted, let it cool.
Add the yogurt into the bowl with the cooled melted chocolate. Mix with a hand mixer and set it aside.
With a peeler remove the skin of the mangoes and cut them in half along the pit. Cut them into slices that are roughly 2 cm wide (1 inch), remove the pit and arrange the slices on a service plate.
Pour the yogurt chocolate mixture over the mango slices. Sprinkle the candied macadamia nuts over the top.
Enjoy!
I adapted the recipe from the book “The Family Meal” by Ferran Adriá.
