Description

Do you know what’s more delicious than a Lindt chocolate Lindor truffle? A Lindt chocolate Lindor truffle stuffed inside a brownie. Ya. That’s right. You heard me.

This is good stuff!

Ingredients

  • 12  Milk Chocolate Lindor Truffles
  • ½ cups Butter
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 2  Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • ⅓ cups Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Baking Powder

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350 F and line a 12-count muffin tin with cupcake liners.

2. Unwrap your milk chocolate Lindor truffles and drop one into the center of each cupcake liner.

3. In a large saucepan over medium low heat, melt 1/2 cup butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat in the flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder. Pour batter over each Lindor truffle, filling the cupcake liners almost 3/4 of the way up.

4. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 12-15 minutes. Do not overcook. They should be a little gooey. Remove from oven, set pan on a rack and let them cool before serving.

These are great, but I found the recipe came up a bit short, barely enough to make 10 brownies. Each of them could’ve used more, because they ended up somewhat small, with the Lindor chocolate showing through the top. A good tip is to cut a small sliver off the bottom of the Lindor chocolate, so it is flat and will sit in the centre and not roll to one side.

I just made these and they are amazing! I only put half a lindor truffle in each as I didn’t have many, only 150g sugar instead of 200g as not a fan of sweet stuff and used a mixture of wholewheat/white flour and brown/white sugar. I also put some grated dark chocolate on top.
I made them with Pure Olive Spread and they are perfect!

What better combination then a brownie and a truffle. Very easy recipe, and oh so good.

I made these for my son’s birthday and they were fabulous. Two people at the table said they were putting “heaven” in their mouths. This is a keeper recipe. Wonderful texture and taste. Next time I am going to put a mixture of truffles in. My husband has already asked for these for HIS birthday on August 20th.

Wow, these are DELICIOUS! And super easy to make! I may have over baked them by a minute or two because they truly do look gooey. They stuck to the paper liners a bit, but that may be due to being slightly overdone. I used milk chocolate truffles and they were delicious; next time I might try dark chocolate truffles. I can’t think of one less-than-positive thing to say about these. I loved them!
