Warm fudge comfort food passed down from grandma to mom to me to you. Enjoy on your ice cream for dessert or by the spoonful for breakfast.
Boil, stirring constantly, until desired thickness (soft ball stage). Take off stove and add vanilla. Enjoy on top of your favorite ice cream.
NOTE: I enjoy the little chunks in the sauce, but if you want smoother sauce (ala my sister) drop in blender and give it a whirl.
