Honey and figs are a perfect match and roasting the figs creates an almost caramel-like quality. Serve roasted figs over oatmeal, yogurt, cake or ice cream.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Remove the stem and bottom of each fig. Slice in half, lengthwise. Smear a dab of butter onto the cut side of each fig half and place into a buttered baking dish. Drizzle honey over the figs.
Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot or refrigerate and serve cold.
