An easy dessert recipe that has been handed down for generations! Who can beat that? Your own grandma would be proud that you gave this recipe a try!
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix 1 cup sugar and the flour together in a medium sized bowl. Melt 1 stick of butter and add it into the mixture. Add milk into the mixture and stir until lumps are gone. Pour batter into a greased 13×9-inch pan.
2. Add chopped fruit over the top of the batter.
3. Add remaining 1 cup of sugar evenly over top of the fruit.
4. Cube the remaining 1/2 stick of butter and place cubes randomly over top of the sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon as desired.
5. Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes.
Note: If you use particularly sweet fruit, then use less than 1 cup of sugar to cover the chopped fruit in step 3.
