Our family’s favorite pie. My grandma always made it, and something about the combination of the pudding and the crust is magical.
For the crust, combine graham-cracker crumbs and softened butter until thoroughly mixed, and press into a pie pan.
Preheat oven to 350 F.
For the filling, combine 3/4 cup sugar and cornstarch in a pan over medium or medium-high heat, then add egg yolks and milk till the mixture thickens, stirring constantly. When mixture is the consistency of pudding, remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and pour into the crust.
For the meringue, beat egg whites with the remaining 3 or 4 tablespoons sugar in the bowl of a mixer until stiff peaks form, then spread over the filling of the pie. Bake pie in the preheated oven for 5 to 10 minutes to lightly brown the meringue.

I’m a collector of pie recipes but I have never seen one for graham cracker pie Sounds good!
