My best friend is such a good baker! This incredible, gooey, soft chocolate oatmeal bar recipe comes from her kitchen to yours, with love.
Preheat oven to 350 F.
In a large bowl cream together the butter and brown sugar. Mix in the eggs, flour, baking soda, salt and quick oats.
Press 2/3 of your mixture into your Pampered Chef large bar pan or a similar 17 x 12 jelly roll pan.
On the stove top over low heat, melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Once melted pour it over the “crust”.
Spoon the remaining dough onto the top and bake at 350 F for 15 minutes, but no more than 25. Do not over-bake or they are ruined! You want them still soft and gooey!
